People are paying more and more attention to cognitive technology(CT) to achieve the ambition to augment the human’s intellect and cognitive ability. CT improves human’s sensory perception to a subtlest level which in a very real sense is a breakthrough in extending human’s sense. As a completely new form, distributed cognition has a profound effect on human’s cognitive paradigm. Due to the cognitive environment’ virtualization and object of cognition’s E-projection, traditional relationship between subject and object has dramatically changed. This essay explores to find the philosophy basis for the present cognitive technology with the analysis of the biological principles, Gibson’s Eco-Psychology as well as phenomenology theory. Considering the dehumanization trend emerged in the technology, some axiology introspection has also been made in this essay. At last, it points out some philosophical dilemma confronted by CT including the embodiment problem, affective computing and the interaction problem between subject and object.
