| ABSTRACT:Objective:To understand the root of the mix of the current meditation intervention; Putting forward the breath-focused technique; To test the function of an brief breath-focused training and analyse its mechanismMethod:Review the objectiveã€approachã€methods and results of the Southern Budhism; Using a one-group, pre-post test design, testing the function of the breath-focused training for four weeks; Using the breath-focused technique to treat Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; Analyse the mechanism of the breath-focused technique.Results:(1)There are two kinds of meditation techniques, but their functions are different.(2)The scores of BPOMS. CPSSã€T-AIã€RRQ are significantly decreased.(3)A patient with OCD who was treated by the breath-focused technique was been cured to some extent.(4)A tendency of living in the moment has showed itself in our participants.Conclusions:(1)The Tranquility-meditation should become the main technique for mediation training.(2)The breath-focused training for four weeks can significantly decrease negative moodã€perceived stress〠trait-anxiety and reflection.(3)Tranquility-meditation by focusing on the breath may have therapeutic value for some patients with OCD, deserving our attention.(4)The breath-focused technique can make "live in the moment" become a reality. |
