A Study On Parody Phenomenon In The New Historical Novel

In the New Historical Novel, parody phenomenon lack of specialized and detailed studies. This paper chooses some representative parody works in the New Historical Novel as the research object, uses the methods of theory combing and close reading, in based on the carding about the naming, concept of the New Historical Novel, the concept and the evolution of parody, to explore the reasons for the appearance of parody in the New Historical Novel, and further study parody performance and its strategies in the New Historical Novel.First of all, introduces the naming of the New Historical Novel and the theory of parody. On the basis of analyze the relations between the New Historical Novel and the New Historicism, reviewing the naming, concept of the New Historical Novel, studying the concept of parody and the evolution of its theory, grasping the double text structure of parody and its funny characteristic, then determining the scope of this paper. Second, explores the reasons for the appearance of parody in the New Historical Novel. Parody phenomenon in New Historical Novel, on the one hand, influenced and inspired by western postmodernism literature, on the other hand, succeeds and develops the Parody factors existing in our literature, especially for Lu Xun’s New Stories. Finally, studies the concrete manifestation of parody and its strategies in the New Historical Novel:keynote’s change, meaning’s renascence, the degradation of figures and historical events, as well as text and linguistic carnival.
