As one of The Twenty-Four Histories, Shen Yue’s Song Annalsnarrated the history of nearly60years of the Southern Dynasty, exactly the LiuSongDynasty, from the founding emperor Liu Yu to the ending one Liu Zhun. Shen Yuewas not only a famous historian and politician during the period of LiuSong, alsohe was a brilliant writer. Therefore, Shen Yue’s Song Annals recorded the facts ofthe LiuSong Dynasty, at the same times, it devoted much space to record literaryanecdotes and literary works. This for the LiuSong literature research, has anirreplaceable literary and historical value. On the current situation of the academiccircles, in recent twenty years, the research of Shen Yue’s Song Annals mainlyconcentrated on Shen Yue’s sound theory and Song Annals’ collating, other aspectsof the Song Annals literature research was relatively weak and immethodical,however, the research on the records of literary activities in Song Annals is rare. So,studying the literary activities in Song Annals systematically and specifically helpedto detecting the LiuSong literary phenomenon, reflecting the LiuSong literarycharacteristics, and contributing to the consolidation and supplement of LiuSongliterature. Through the scan of the Song Annals, sorting and classification of therelated literary activities materials, this paper intended to explore and study fromthe three aspects including the royal feast, the literary activities and the poetryexchange in Song Annals, and hope that through this topic, it will further strengthenthe Song Annals’ literature and history status in the academic circles and it willcause more scholars pay attention to the Song Annals’literature research.
