Many classical pieces have still been known andsung today. The development of ballet music can not only promote the plot andcharacter, and character expression, therefore, music plays a fundamental role in theballet through the creation of.The paper firstly reviews the development history of Chinese ballet and classifiesChinese ballets in different periods by the characteristics of music. Next, the authorchooses six representative Chinese ballet works in technology and style, which havethe feature of their times, and analyzes the national features of these works in musicalcreation from multiple perspectives such as music material, scale, structure,techniques of musical development, etc. based on their own characteristics. Besides,the author does further analysis to the creation features of Chinese ballet from theaspect of cross influence which music, dance and drama produce, and summarizes thecommon characteristics that Chinese ballet combined with music, dance and dramashows. Finally, the paper simply presents some experience which Chinese balletmusic learns from western ballet music.
