| Social anxiety is a common problem among the college students which drastically affectstheir mental health and comprehensive qualities. Learning about the mechanism that howsocial anxiety developed is significant to the preventive instruction and intervention of socialanxiety. However, it is still controversial about the specific constituents of social anxiety. Inthis study, the dot-probe task and eye-movement apparatus were used to explore the high levelanxiety and low level anxiety students’ attentional bias of the conscious subthreshold and theconscious superthreshold in different time processing. Two experiments constitute the study.564college freshmen were tested by the SPS&SIAS.Selected the highest10%as the high level anxiety group and the lowest10%students as the lowlevel anxiety group. At last,20students were selected as subjects for experiment1and46subjectsfor experiment2. Experiment1adopted a mixed design of three factors,3(picture type: X-Z, J-Z,Z-Z)×2(social anxiety level:HSA, LAS)×2(conformance: the stimulus and probe dot are at sameside, at different side) to investigate the characteristics of attentional bias of social anxietyindividuals of the conscious subthreshold. Experiment2contains two kinds of stimuluspresentation time,800ms and3000ms. A mixed design of two factors is used,2(picture type:positive, negative)×2(social anxiety level: HSA,LSA), to investigate the characteristics of socialanxiety in the conscious superthreshold in different time processing. The main conclusions are as the following:(1) In the subliminal condition, the HSA avoid the negative stimulus;(2) In the supraliminal condition,800ms stimulus presented time condition, the HSA has initialorienting bias, speeded detection bias, initial maintenance bias and totally maintenance bias towardsthe negative stimulus. The LSA showed initial maintenance bias towards the positive stimulus;(3) In the supraliminal condition,3000ms stimulus presented time condition, the HSAhas initial orienting bias, speeded detection bias, later attentional avoidance and initialmaintenance bias towards the negative stimulus. Towards the positive stimulus, the HSA hasinitial avoid to the positive pictures. The LSA had the initial maintenance bias towards thepositive stimulus and initial avoid to the negative stimulus. |
