A Study On Logical Thought Of Dengxi

Dengxi is the first person of the school of names in China’s pre-Qin period, he isan important politicians, philosopher and logician, not only in the history of Chineselogic, but also in the history of Chinese philosophy he has unique academic thoughtand important historical position. In this paper, the logical thought of Dengxi has beeninvestigated and researched. He proposed a groundbreaking logical thought and a quitecontroversial debate. As many ancient texts about Dengxi has been lost, scholars hasmany different opinions of his thought, it is benevolence person that see benevolence,the wise meet intelligently really. In basis of the analysis of these predecessors, theauthor carefully read the relevant original literature. Through the system analysismethod, comparative research methods, literature analysis methods, unity of historyand logic methods, historical and cultural interpretation method and other methods, theauthor put forward some personal views in this paper. The purpose of this article was tocomprehensively review the logical thought of Dengxi and it in-depth analyzed thecontroversial debate, the author presented her own opinions so as to help peoplecomprehensively understand the logical thought of Dengxi and appreciate the value ofDengxi logical thinking simultaneously.This paper is divided into four parts and the Dengxi logical thinking has been for adetailed description. In the presentation on Dengxi himself, the article combines theDengxi’s life of the historical background, it could help people to comprehensivelyunderstand Dengxi. For Dengxi logical thinking part, This paper is described from"name","Debate" and “ambiguous said” three aspect. In the explaining process, notonly clarifies Dengxi logical thinking on "Name","Debate" and “ambiguous said”three aspects of the theory, but also try to use different viewpoints to analyze it, and fora number of the controversial topics, my own views ia clearly put forward.
