Since the Tang dynasty,Yangzhou is the center of the liang huai salt industry. After theMing dynasty,Yangzhou is to rely on the superior geographical position，becomes the center ofthe national salt industry,it is a scene and merchants gathered， the rise of humanities ceremony.Yangzhou salt merchants is the richest of China,under its influence has formed the unique cultureof Yangzhou salt merchants. Today’s Yangzhou salt industry status already not,but still retains therich modern Yangzhou and Huai bei salt merchants cultural relics. They are the carrier of history，carrying large amounts of information,is the priceless heritage of the ancestors left to futuregenerations.
