The Research Of Pre-qin Confucian Music-dance Aesthetic Ideology

The “yue” in pre-Qin period usually has a variety of meanings, including music and dance.And the unity of music and dance was the main art form in pre-Qin period. So thecombination of the music and dance is necessary to stuy the pre-qin Confucian aesthetics.However, most domestic scholars studied the pre-qin Confucian music aesthetics ideologyfrom the perspective of political ethics, confusing the political ethics thought and aestheticthought, so their thoughts of the pre-qin Confucian were inevitably biased. Few researcheswere conducted to study the pre-qin Confucian dance aesthetic,which was not helpful to thedevelopment of Chinese dance art. At present, the scholars combined music and dance wererare. Unlike most domestic scholars of pre-qin Confucian aesthetics, based on aestheticsdiscipline theory, the author would dig up the pre-qin Confucian aesthetic thought from theperspective of combining music and dance, which was a relatively new perspective; Thepre-qin Confucian music-dance aesthetic ideology was considered to guide contemporarypeople to establish correct world outlook, the outlook on life and values, to promotecontemporary music culture character. The significance of the study about pre-qin confucianmusic-dance aesthetics thoughts could not only enrich the contents of Chinese aesthetics,butalso add a new theory angle of view.In this paper, by analyzing the mian content and music-dance aesthetic thoughts ofConfucius;, Mencius, xun zi in pre-qin period, the author explained the inheritance among therheological relationship,and expounded the development history of the pre-qin Confucianmusic-dance aesthetic thoughts.What’s more, the author explained the contemporary value ofthe pre-qin confucian music-dance aesthetics from three aspects: increasing personalself-cultivation, promoting social harmony and the the developing of the contemporarymusic-dance aesthetics.
