An Investigation On The Community Music Culture Of Yining City

Community is the basic unit of society. It is also the important place for life,entertainment, communication city residents. As an important part of communitycultural, community music culture embodies the spirit of community residents andthe cultural atmosphere to some extent. With the accelerating process of urbanizationand the development of urban community, community culture in modern societyplays an increasingly important role. As the carrier of culture, Music has importantmeaning to the cultural exchange and the inheritance. Community is an importantmedia of cultural exchange, and the development of community music cultureembodies the spiritual life of community residents. Researches about the communitymusic are still in the stage of development and exploration. The community musicculture not only plays the important link role in enriching people’s cultural life,popularizing mass music, promoting social stability and unity and boosting aharmonious society, but also has powerfully promotes the formation anddevelopment of social culture environment.Xinjiang is a multi-ethnic region，with the diversity of its music culture. Music, asa carrier of culture, plays an important role in cultural exchanges and inheritance ofeach nation. Yining city is the cradle of multi-culture, and brilliant cultures of allnationalities blend here. This paper will base on the investigation of the communitymusic culture in Yining city, depict the development factors on the formation ofcommunity music structure in the area, find the relationship among music, theindividual, and the society, summarizes the cultural character and enlightenment ofcommunity music in the Yining city, discovers the identity and value of multi-nationsmusic exchange, and finally gives some suggestion on the development ofmulti-nations community culture.The thesis will be divided into five parts:The first part mainly discusses the motivation, methods of research, and thecurrent research situation home and abroad.The second part introduces the definitions of community and community culture,and the function and the character of community music is also mentioned.The third part expatiates the survey of current situation of community musicculture in Yining city. In depth discussion was also provided on the programs held onthe community music culture in Yining city.The fourth part analyzes the present situation of the community music culture inYining city, through questionnaire survey and interviews of the participants.In the last part, suggestions on building of the community music culture in theYining city was put forward by the author on the basis of the investigation.
