Study On Education Of Marxist View Of Religious Sociology

View of religious sociology is the basic understanding about various aspects ofthe relationship between religion and society, i.e. between religion and society,individuals, between religion and ethnic group, between religion and state, betweenreligion and classes, between religion and politics, and between religion and politicalparty etc. Marxist view of religious sociology is an integral part of Marxist view ofreligion, referring to research on the relationship between religion and variousaspects of the society with the standpoint, view and methods of Marxist dialecticalmaterialism and historical materialism, and the sum of theories and policies withrespect to on the relationship between religion and various aspects of the society.Nowadays, religious issues are involved in many aspects such as internationalpolitics, economic development, national security, social stability, relation betweennationalities, and legal order etc. As a multi-ethnic and multi-religious socialistcountry, China sees a rapidly-increased population believing in a religion withreform of economic, political, cultural and social system as well as the deepenedopening to the outside world and social transformation, plus that the western hostileforces take religion as an opportunity of realizing Westernization and secessionconspiracy and penetrating religion into China fully at multi-level and multi-channel,it is more important and urgent than ever to understand and handle correctly therelationship between religion and various aspects of the society. With combination ofcurrent situation, it was expatiated on that religious liberation was not theprecondition for political liberation of human being in this paper; religion acts as a“religious coat” in political conflicts; Fetishism of Money is “the religion in daily lifeof commodity society”; the religious issues shall be handled only in the way ofsecularizing religion but not religionizing temporal issues; the state cannot beliberated from religion without thorough separation of the church from the state; suchbasic understanding from Marxist view of religious sociology developed by ChineseCommunist Party is of significance not only for in-depth research of Marxist view ofreligious sociology theoretically, but also for helping the cadres and the masses toobserve and handle correctly the social issues related to religions under the guidanceof scientific theories in actuality.Based on large numbers of literature, theoretical analysis and many-year’seducational experiences, the said basic points of view were expounded for directingthe cadres and the masses to understand such basic viewpoints, and attachimportance to make a distinction between religion and religious extremism withcombination of current situation and actuality in Xinjiang; such issues as theuniversal impact of religion on public life, adhering to the separation of church andstate, and resisting religious infiltration shall be treated in a scientific way.
