The Research On Guo Moruo’s Preface And Postscript

Guo as a "spherical genius" have a remarkable achievement in many ways, about Guo’s research has been very rich and mature. But there are still some gaps among the mature system. Guo’s prefaces study is among the gaps. This article is to find the lack of Guo’s prose study, so the author tries studying the preface and postscript in order to provide some tentative thoughts.Due to the limitations of time and information, the author’s research is based on the preface and postscript that embodied The Complete Works of Guo Moruo and Guo’s Set outside the prefaces and postscripts Set. On the basis of these prefaces and postscripts, I collected summarizes Guo’s prefaces and postscripts Appendix for further classification and sorting. On the basis of these classifications, the author discusses characteristics of literary on prefaces and postscripts. Then the author explore the value of Guo’s prefaces and postscripts further.The first chapter of this thesis is on Guo’s prefaces and postscripts Classification and characteristics. In this chapter, The author divided Guo’s prefaces into two categories:prefaces for himself and prefaces for others. Prefaces for himself are divided into literature prefaces, science prefaces, translated prefaces, history and other prefaces. Prefaces for others are divided into prefaces for friends and prefaces for young writers. In this chapter, the author analyzed Guo’s translation principles and postscripts academic attitude and principles, the second chapter discusses the literary philosophy embodied in the Guo’s prefaces and postscripts. This chapter includes three parts, the first section is on exploring Guo’s poetry criticism and creative principle. Section Ⅱ is on exploring Guo’s historical drama creation principles in the historical drama prefaces and postscripts. The third section is on Guo’s creative ideas, namely, the "Human Literary"-"Revolutionary Literature"-"People’s Literature". In this part, the author is trying to show Guo’s concept about literary and artistic in all fields, finding the trajectory of change in thought through the prefaces and postscripts. The third chapter is on exploring the art of writing about Guo’s prefaces and postscripts. The first section is on exploring the addiction of history and textual of Guo’s prefaces and postscripts. In the case of combination of both habits, Guo wrote a lot of similar academic essays,this is one of the characteristics of Guo’s prefaces and postscripts. Section Ⅱ is on exploring lots kinds of Guo’s prefaces of literature genre. Prefaces not only contain prose, as well as poetry, essays, argumentative, etc.. A variety of literary genres of Guo’s is one of the artistic features of the preface and postscript. The third quarter is on the attitude about Guo’s writing prefaces and postscripts that is his not hypocritical attitude and leaving the space for readers’judgments. Chapter IV of the paper focuses on the value of Guo’s prefaces and postscripts. Prefaces and postscripts is not only the witness of Guo’s life, but also the record of his literary thoughts and creative situations.The four Chapters highlight significance value in literary history with Mutual coordinate relations.
