Research On Basic Form And Expression Of Kangxi Five Color Figures Patterns

As an important type of Chinese faience, Kangxi Five Color is outstanding, shining and being pursued in recent years. Basic form and expression of Kangxi Five Color figures patterns were researched in this paper. On the basis of colorful figures system’s formation and sculpt principles’deepen, the gaps of no system research at home and abroad were filled, so as to provide new ideas for the Modern ancient ceramic decorative art design and provide a theoretical basis for the identification and collection of Kangxi Five Color faience.Basic forms of Kangxi Five Color figures patterns were studied. Case analysis method and inductive method were adopted. Through the analysis of the playing baby characters and lady characters of playing baby and lady figures patterns, morphological characteristics of Kangxi Five Color playing baby and lady figures patterns were gained; through the analysis of history characters and myth characters of history and myth figures patterns, morphological characteristics of Kangxi Five Color history and myth figures patterns were gained; through the analysis of high intellectuals characters and secular characters of high intellectual and secular figures patterns, morphological characteristics of Kangxi Five Color high intellectual and secular figures patterns were gained; through the analysis of Hu figures patterns and Bogu patterns, morphological characteristics of Kangxi Five Color Hu figures patterns and Bogu patterns were gained; finally, morphological characteristics of Kangxi Five Color figures patterns were obtained. Namely, the elegant characters and vivid look, the delicate draw and strong dynamic, focus on the character structure and clothes folds, strengthen the content of artistic conception and moralizing function, women sick, stiff movements of historical figures.Expression of Kangxi Five Color figures patterns was studied. Case analysis method and inductive method were adopted. Through the analysis of line drawing expression, which emphasized on iron wires line, flowing style line, and nail head tail tracing line, the expression characteristics of Kangxi Five Color line drawing expression were obtained; through the analysis of the layout form expressions, which emphasized on scatter layout, point and line layout, and point and plane layout etc., the layout form expression characteristics of Kangxi Five Color were obtained; then Expression characteristics of Kangxi Five Color figures patterns were gained. Namely, the hard iron wires line is slight dull when used on the clothes folds turning; flowing style line is little flirtatious when used on flexible clothes; the flexible nail head tail tracing line is somewhat farfetched when used on the cloth folds and plant; the scattered layout is stable and steady, the point and line layout is serenity or dynamic and with lively rhythm, the point and plane layout is full and with quiet rhythm.
