Study On Literature-Existing Mode Of The New Era

Since the beginning of the new period, the research on media and literature had achieved significantresults in academic world. Especially with the arrival of the "Millennium", the popularity of the networktechnology and the revolutionary breakthrough in communication technology had brought great changes insocial structure and the public space. In the field of art, it assumes the unique landscape of thepost-modernist art, even the traditional literature also faces the danger of the “end”. Therefore, thecomplicated connections between the media and development of literary are in urgent need of a reasonableexplanation given by theorists.Media influences the cognitive mode of human, and as a kind of information structure, it has becomea part of the structure of human thinking. It’s important to emphasize media as the essence of literaturecontent, it will help us clarify the complex relations between media and the way of literature exists.Unfortunately, current academic research concerns how media decide literary existence. This one-wayresearch ignores the value of literature as research object itself, as well as the deeper relations betweeninternal mechanism and external symbolic characterizations of literature. However, what is certain is thatliterature is changing in artistic skills, literary forms, literature functions, value trends and social cognitiveconstruction etc in this medium age. At the same time, literature is inevitably shows the unique way ofexistence in the framework of thinking mode, scope of the concept, theoretical point of view and theoreticalmode. The opinion “media is the essence of literary content” is in the succession to Mcluhan about "themedium is the message". This viewpoint is based on the investigation about existence mode of literature.This paper elaborated the underlying reasons that brought about literature extension, functional transitionsas well as the transforming in literary value, reiterated that the literature in times of media not only will notdie, but in other forms of literature existence stand firm. It reaffirmed that the literature will exist firmly inother forms in media age instead of dying out.This paper studies how literature existence acts on the information environment and meanwhileproduces corresponding changes from sociological perspective. It’s of great value to reveal literaturemanifestation in the era of media from following aspects: lacking of imagination in the internal mechanism of literature, loss of fictitious space and the transformation in external representation ofliterature. It will provide theoretical basis and theory support for the literature reconstruction in mediumage by clarifying the relationship between social structure, culture shaping and media communication. Inaddition, to define the interaction exists between the media and the literature being in theory will not onlycontribute to the clearance of philosophical foundation in postmodern theories, such as "literature endtheory","after theory"," reconstruction of literary classics theory " but also contribute to making reliableprediction in the development of literary form.
