Film Noir played a key role in American film history. Neo Noir, emerged in1970s, not only inherited the essence of the Film Noir, but initiated its own style. It showed us the dark side of society and human nature and let viewers know the weakness of humanity itself, In conclusion, Neo Noir focused on the dilemma of the human spirit.The rise of film noir is closely connected to contemporary American political, economic and cultural development.
