Flowing Melody

The Hezhe nationality,distributing in the northeast border region of China wherethree rivers meet,is one of the minorities which has the least population in China.Nowmost people of Hezhe live in the Jiejinkou Hoche,Raohe County four rows of HezheTownship and Jia Musi suberban Aoqi Hezhe village and few live in other parts of thecountry.Thanks to the rich geographical environment,the nation,taking the traditionalfishing production and life as background,has formed the unique and its own nationalculture in the long-term development process of social history.The folk of the Hezhefully embodies the essence of deposition in the process of historical development.This paper,referring to the definition of the Hezhe nationality folk songs by TianLiantao editor in his "Chinese Minority-Traditional Music" as well as the materialscollected from field investigation in Hezhe settlements and the views of Hezhenationality"insider"about the folk songs, sorts the Hezhe nationality folk songs intofour types from the content and the singing style:jialingkuo,the swan tones, yimakantones,saman tones,combining with the development of the folk songs in modernsociety.The four types of folk songs above will be elaborated in the second section ofthe first chapter.Through the analysis, we will have an overall grasp of the folk music inthe body, as people’s cognition of folk songs in the first impression is generally formedfrom the melody which is the body of music through their auditory,On the basis of theabove analysis, the understanding of the folk music current situation will be deepen andthe relationship between music and people will be further explained. Human is thesubject of the inheritance,however,the inheritance of folk songs is not optimisticaccording to various investigation and evidences.Resulting in great survival crisis of thefolk music in modern society.How to deal with the inheritance issues and how to adjustthe sharp contradiction between the traditional music and the modern music become thekey to protect the ancient music.In the end of the paper,several points of view abouthow to inherit and develop Hezhe folk songs are come up.
