Based on some scholars’research achievements about the Monarchy of England with Hundred Years War. This dissertation undertakes to analyze the development and vicissitude about the Monarchy of England in Hundred Years War. At the whole medieval history in the world, feudal monarchy is not only the highly concentrated embodiment of the feudal ruling class rights, but also the supreme symbol of feudal state power, which has dual function, social management and social class oppression. Economic basis determine superstructure, this kind of class character is the whole general character of feudal state power, also determined by the economic. However, we can not lump things under one head, everything has its particularity in its generality. The develop of monarchy will be inflected by many factors, just as historical conditions, social environment, the status of economic development, the constitute of class level, how far the religion spread breadth, the strength of the social contradictions and so on. Just as the famous historian in our country Meng Guanglin insists that the feudal Monarchies of western Europe--one vague and complex phenomenon of political history". But the Monarchy of England in Hundred Years War possess a kind of vivid historian particularity. It turns up at the process of the Germanic migration and overthrows the institution of ancient Rome. It was also infected by the prime political constitution of barbarian, and other feudal hierarchical consciousness. Particularly social and historical conditions make the Monarchy has a character in this very time.The dissertation is composed of the preface and the main body. The preface summarizes the history and present research achievements home and abroad, clarifies the research significance and its originality, the explanation or reference is included as well. The main body is divided into4chapters:Chapter1relates and analyzes the monarchy of England before the Hundred Years War, in which Norman dynasty unified monarchy preliminary establishment and the basic situation of power during this period, the powerful Monarchy pointed out the direction of the establishment of a powerful kingship for the rulers. But as the progress of the society and the enhancement of class rights consciousness, also by setting the<Great Charter> to limit the king’s rights, the Monarchy smells the crisis. Chapter2discusses the feudal Monarchy and secular aristocracy in the Hundred Years War. At the first time, secular aristocracy was driven to the interests of war to participate with the king, victory, interests, kings’friendly and kind, and the honor of king’s knights and so on, makes the cooperation between Kings and secular aristocracy to reach a win-win effect. Afterwards, as increasingly of military expenditure, heavy tax problems lead to the contradictions increasingly fierce, the situation of this time filled with fiercely struggle, could find expression in the development of the parliament and the last king Richard ii of annuity dynasty was abolished at1399.Chapter3mainly analysis the Monarchy and Christianity in the Hundred Years War. In the middle ages, the Christianity is one of the three forces of western society and play an important role in the process in the whole social development. Western Europe society is referred to as "the Christian world", secular power is seen as an integral part of "the Christian world". In Hundred Years War, the relationship between Monarchy and Church is conflicts. In preparation for military spending, the king plunder various taxes from the church, every British king also issued a series of struggle bill against the Pope and the church, and eventually win to set national religion.Chapter4mainly is Monarchy and boroughs in Hundred Years War. The boroughs become an important new force besides Monarchy and Christianity, as the development of commodity economy and the frequent trade between countries.The relationship between Monarchy and boroughs from the original attachment into alliances and cooperation as partners and Allies, this transformation is not only the strength enhancement, more is cooperation between the two sides have achieved a win-win effect.Based on the analysis of4chapters above, the final chapter summarizes the whole dissertation, and points out that the Monarchy characteristic, significance and boundedness of England in Hundred Years War.
