Task-based teaching, put forward in1980s, is a very influential language teaching theory through a large number of researches and practices by researchers. Based on the rich theories and practice achievements, this paper combines the specific characteristics of solfeggio and introduces task-based language teaching into solfeggio teaching. According to the characteristics of solfeggio, the author has analyzed the principles of task-based solfeggio teaching, summed up its types, and carried on a preliminary practical exploration to the corresponding classroom instruction.This text briefly summarizes the current situation of solfeggio teaching in our country and draws the subject afterwards. The whole text is divided into four parts. Chapter one has a historic retrospection of research status of task-based teaching. Chapter two analyses the theoretical foundation of task-based solfeggio teaching in conjunction with its course system contents. Chapter three introduces the basic principles of solfeggio teaching and has a theoretical investigation into types of task-based teaching. Chapter four makes a preliminary discussion in the practical implementation of task-based solfeggio teaching.
