A Comparison Between Zhou Zuoren&Qian Zhongshu’s Literary View

In the twenties and thirties of the20th century, Chinese literary fieldcould be described as bustling. The various literary concepts and a varietyof Western literature doctrine turns staged in literary circles, and theliterature field appears a lot of controversy. The literary world presented a’contention of a hundred schools of thought’, here ’contention of ahundred schools of thought’ not only represents the prosperity of literaturedevelopment potential, but also is the best footnote of continued debates.For example, among the literary factions, such as debates between thenew literary camp with the traditional literature represented by Lin Shu;among various communities, such as the debates between literary studiesand creation society; Even in the same camp, such as new literature, LuXun and Lin Yutang’s argument also exists. Nowadays most scholarsdevoted to various arguments after combing the above, deepinterpretation of content behind the debate, but paid little attention to thedebate between Zhou Zuoren and Qian Zhongshu. In this debate, Zhou Zuoren, Qian Zhongshu discussed different literature problems, whichshows the conflict of different literature, literature history. Zhou Zuoren,Qian Zhongshu mastering ancient and modern literature, can be describedas different features in chinese literary circles. Compared with otherdebates in the literary world, their controversy is more complex.By excavating on historical data, this paper cards the process of thedebate of Zhou Zuoren and Qian Zhongshu, analyzes the focal issuesinvolved in the argument, so as to explore the controversial nature of theproblem and the causes, and thus more open vision comparing ZhouZuoren and Qian Zhongshu’s literature view, literature change concept,melt the differences between chinese and western laws. Through theanalysis of the two debate and the comparison of different literary ideas,contributing to the understanding of Zhou Zuoren, Qian Zhongshu twowriters, scholars’ understanding, so that having more accurate positioningin the history of literature, culture and history. In addition, this not onlyhelps to further our thinking about Gong’an and Jingling schools, literarytheory, but also help us to better learn and melting of the two people,research and writing on the’ history of Chinese modern literature ’.
