After the Russo-Japanese War, Japan forced the Qing government to promise therights and interests which captured from Czarist Russia and northeast of China wasinvaded by the Japanese invading forces.In order to consolidate and expand the rightsand interests of the aggression in the Northeast, the Japanese government began sendingtroops to the northeast of China. As the expansion of Japanese government ambitions ofdominating the Northeast, the army got more attention from the government and armyheadquarters. In1919the Japanese government revoked Kanto Dudufu,and establishedKanto Hall with the enactment of Kwantung Army Headquarters Regulations and theformal establishment of the Kwantung Army Headquarters. in days to come, this troopbecame the culprit to launch " Nine One Eight " incident. It is proved that the reasonswhy the Japanese could occupied the northeast in a few months have some thing to dowith a large number of prior preparations.The main content of this paper is divided intothree parts for analysis and study:This paper makes the Kwantung Army military action after the " nine one eight "incident as the object of study, with the collation and analysis of some files from Thearchives of Liaoning and Jilin Province, and investigates the cause of the Japaneseoccupation of Northeast China in such a short period of time. The paper is divided intothree parts.The second part is the main body which is divided into three chapters. the firstchapter introduces the formation and development of Kwantung Army in the Northeast ofchina which focues on the analysis of the Kwantung Army’s business work in NortheastChina before the incident; the main content of the second chapter is the study of themilitary operation of Japanese Kwantung Army in Incident, including the planningpreparatory activities of the incident, which focuses on the process of the occupationof Northeast China; Chapter three is the key part of this article, which tries to find outwhy the Kwantung Army could occupy the Northeast in such a short period of timethrough the analysis of the Kwantung Army in the work of military action.The academic research achievements of The " Nine One Eight " incident are fruitful,but so far, most of the papers are talking about the defeat of China instead of the analysis of the reasons why Japan could quickly occupied the northeast. Based on this point, theauthor carried out some research.
