The logical empiricism, of which the basic theory is the distinction of the twopropositions and the theory of meaning and verification, was so popular in the early20th century. However, the internal difficulties cannot be overcome, so that theinternal reflection from the logical empiricism and the external criticism from outsidemade a big argument. The Logical empiricists seek to complement and improve theirtheory, while they could not be satisfied. In that case, so many representative andalternative views came out then. But people still could not agree on a unified point ofview. Up to the early1950s, Quine published the essay “Two dogmas of empiricism”,which made people think that he killed the logical empiricism. Quine’s philosophystandpoint is naturalism, which was questioned by people. In my essay, I want toprove that the key point that that made logical empiricism declined was not Quine butitself. The reasonable part of his view should be acknowledged, but his NaturalisticEpistemology has to be reflected. And the better way to solve Quine’s problems isTranscendentalism Epistemology.
