An Analysis Of The Postal Communication In Yunnan During The Anti-Japanese War Years

At the beginning of the Anti-Japanese War, Yunnan Province away from the battlefield, became the rear area of the Sino-Japanese War, A large number of factories, enterprises, colleges and universities moved into Yunnan Province, it had increased the floating population and promoted the rapid development of economic culture and education. In addition Yunnan had the international transport corridors, they provided a good opportunity for the development of Yunnan postal service. In the late period of Anti-Japanese War, when the war to the India, Burma area, the west of Yunnan developed into the forefront to resist the enemy. Yunnan post provides service for the Western forces on the field of battle. Yunnan post had one breath and the common fate with Yunnan’s war of resistance against Japan. Yunnan postal service played a significant role to the populace and military administration in the period of Anti-Japanese War.First of all, this article analyzes the various factors of the rapid development of Yunnan postal service. The most important performance are that the secret inspection system of the postal destroyed people’s privacy and delayed time, postal economic loss due to rapid price soaring, treatment of postal employees raised, and real life was becoming more and more difficult. Yunnan Post still insisted to provide services for the Anti-Japanese War.
