Mongolian Current Situation Research Of Appliance In Baotou’s Mongolian

This paper has carried out the comprehensive investigation on present situation of mother usage of Mongolian individual in Baotou city through analyzing their conversation between family members, personal and cultural life, working environment, and other social sites. The thesis is composed of five parts.In the introduction part, the aim and significance of study, literature review, research theory and methods, material sources of the selected topic and general situation of Baotouhas been mentioned.In first chapter, the present situation of Mongolian language usage was stated through introducing communication between family members, personal and cultural life, working environment, and other social sites. The investigation showed that Mongolian is the language often used in their family communication, but in working places and other social sites Mongolian people tended to use bilingual of Mongolian and Chinese or Chinese only sometimes. Therefore the mother tongue usage of Mongolian individual in Baotou can be, divided into three types such as monolingual of Mongolian, monolingual of Chinese and bilingual of Mongolian and Chinese.In chapter two, the relation between respondents and usage of language was being discussed. The situation of language usage related to age, profession, social environment and mother tongue. The analyzed data showed that the using situation of Mongolian is not well.In chapter three, the author summarized basic characters of Mongolian language using situation in Baotou, analyzed its causes and countermeasures and put forward the suggestion of expanding the scope of Mongolian language use and improving function of language use.In conclusion part, an induction and summary of the research was made.
