The new round of national curricula reform, On the guidance of development of scientific outlook which in a people-oriented put forward the new requirements of developing curriculum resources on the base of students’ development. So, the development of curriculum resources, especially the curriculum content resources development, as the important support of the curriculum reform will become the core of current reform. In recent years, The development of PE curriculum content resources has made certain achievements in theory and practice, however, DanceSports curriculum content resources development is still relatively backward. Sports colleges are the cradle of training the Sports dance teachers, referees, performing personnel and other professional Sports dance talent. The Sports dance curriculum content resources development restricting Sports Colleges Sports dance course setting, and ultimately affect the quality of talent of Sports dance. Therefore, needless to say, it is significant to increase the efforts of sports colleges Sports dance curriculum content resources development.The dissertation, by means of such research methods as literatures, questionnaire, interview and mathematical statistics, Choose our country8big sports colleges and universities to investigate present situation of sports dance curriculum resources development.Then to relatively system discuss of Sport dance curriculum resource development concept, value, main basis, principle, target, main body, scope, main factors and methods of the related theoretical issues. Finally, aiming at the situation to put forward some countermeasures.In conclusions, the results are as follows:1) According to the need of course to reform resources to course content is the development of Sports dance course content.2) Students’ development is the basis of curriculum content resources development. The principle of scientific, the principle, health, age, development and utilization are the main principles which must be abide by. The whole objective of development is to meet students’needs.3) Teachers, experts, students and sports management personnel are important main body of curriculum resources development.4) The Sports dance curriculum resources development refer to wide ranges which mainly includes:The knowledge resources, practice resources, body practice resources and other resources.5) The main factors that effect teachers to develop curriculum content resources include teachers’ awareness, knowledge, ability, emotion, education policy, community resources, school leaders, students and so on.6) The main methods of developing Sports dance curriculum content resource include screening, modification, integration and expanding.7) Nowadays, Sports dance course content can not meet the development needs of students in physical education institutes. The conditions cannot meet the need of teachers of Sports dance to develop curriculum resources.The suggestions are as follows:1) College leaders should strengthen support of Sports dance curriculum resource development, provide certain policy, funding and other conditional guarantees;2) Strengthen teachers’awareness of curriculum resources development, establish teacher training mechanism of Sports dance curriculum content resources development;3) Strengthen communications between teachers and students, build a comprehensive development model between teachers, experts, students and management personnel;4) Strengthen integration development of sports dance curriculum resources;5) Strengthen methodology study of Sports dance curriculum content resources development, reconstruction Physical Education Colleges’unique new patterns of Sports dance.
