Naming and definition is a noteworthy problem in research of shi jing.Xu Qian, who lived in Yuan Dynasty wrote an book,called shi ji zhuan ming wu chao,which based on the naming and definition, which performanced in Lu Ji’s mao shi cao mu niao shou chong yu shu and Cai Bian’s mao shi ming wu jie, take Zhu Xi’s shi ji zhuan as originally book. shi ji zhuan ming wu chao combinate he naming and definition with poetic meaning, showing their new forms of exegesis.This thesis is based on the research on edition textual of shi ji zhuan, Reference resources the record of Xu Qian and his books in yuan shi and song yuan xue an. The full text is divided into four parts:first,Xu Qian and shi ji zhuan ming wu chao,which focused on the introduction of Xu Qian and the existing edition of shi ji zhuan ming wu chao,second,the edition overview of shi ji zhuan.ming wu chao is a work, which based on Zhu Xi’s shi ji zhuan, the writer through the edition overview of shi ji zhuan,aimed at the basic understanding of ming wu chao.third, the research on Ontology of shi ji zhuan ming wu chao.This part is focused on the ming wu chao’s gain, fill permits, revised of shi ji zhuan.Through the classical literature,do a detailed and comprehensive study of ming wu chao.forth, the prove of several things which in ming wu chao.this part is based on several things in ming wu chao. The author passed through different historical materials to prove theseveral things which in ming wu chao.
