Present Situation Investigation Of Foreign Students’ Calligraphy Learning Interest And Countermeasures

Calligraphy is the quintessence of Chinese culture. Foreigner students’ calligraphy teachinghas profound significance in the spread of Chinese culture, has an important role in teachingChinese as a foreign language. So no matter from Chinese language international promotionstrategy, or from the point of outline of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, foreignerstudents’ calligraphy teaching deserves our attention.In recent years, with the development of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in ourcountry, more and more students come into contact with the Chinese calligraphy. At the sametime, many problems about foreigner students’ calligraphy teaching appeared gradually, such asignoring the importance of calligraphy, confusing the difference between the writing class andcalligraphy class, and confusing the students’ calligraphy teaching and domestic teaching, lackof unified curriculum content and special materials, lack of targeted teaching method, lack ofscientific evaluation system, etc. This situation reflects the fact that we are lack of sufficientunderstanding of calligraphy teaching for international students. It mainly embodies in theseaspects: lack of systematic, practical and efficient calligraphy teaching strategy, lack of a perfectsystem. Based on the above situation, this article mainly discusses the following questions:1. According to the theory of interest in the self-made questionnaire about the status quo ofinternational students’ calligraphy learning interest, making an in-depth investigation, analyzingthe investigation statistics results.2. Use SPSS software to analysis the questionnaire’s answer, find objective factors aboutteaching which affect students’ learning interest in calligraphy, and the statistical results of thesefactors were analyzed by descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, regression analysis and factoranalysis.3. According to the results of the analysis of the questionnaire, and on the basis ofcombining the theory of interest in the development, we put forward the corresponding teachingstrategies, in order to improve and develop calligraphy learning interest.
