The film and television material has a positive effect in language teaching because of thevisual way of displaying, but its applying in Chinese teaching still has some limitations. Thispaper tries to construct a video clips resource library that based on topic classified, and wehope it will be helpful for TCFL and provides some film and television material to apply toTCFL.This article summarizes the topics from10sets of Chinese textbooks, several syllabus andtopic libraries, then it constructs a topic library containing five categories,35topics and54sub-topics through comparing and analyzing. Based on this topic library, wecapture many video clips from popular films and TV series that reflect the contemporaryChinese life, then we mark these video clips with scene label, build a index that use the topicsand scenes as the root directory. This resource library has three characteristics: topicclassification, video clips corpus, scene label. The topic classification is the basis of the study.The video clips corpus is main content of the resource library. The scene label isa further refinement of resources. We expect this repository could be comprehensive in topicand scene, vivid and real in language, flexible in using, convenient in seeking.This study is in line with the trend that Chinese teaching becomes more communicative,topical, modern technological. We expect it could apply to TCFL and achieve some effects. |
