The Republic of China calligraphy is divided into three periods:Initial stage, calligraphy inherited the Qing Dynasty style but with difference.Interim, there were many famous calligraphers and most of them had new ideas of the development with Tablet calligraphy and calligraphy.They not only retained the ancient style but also created new styles and formed a variety of styles coexist situation in calligraphy.Later stage,calligraphers created a miracle in the world with a positive attitude. The Republic of China in the history of Chinese calligraphy is a transition period, with "heavy, clumsy" style to occupy a dominant position, from the worship of the Tablet calligraphy to coexist with the calligraphy,from inheritance to innovation and common prosperity, in this period played an important role, but also has a certain pioneering. From Wei and Jin Dynasty to Qing Dynasty, the development of calligraphy experienced from prosperous to decline and it needs new vitality.This time Tablet calligraphy emerged as the times require, especially in the middle and late period of Qing Dynasty as the inquisition influence men of literature and writing to Jinshi textual research, thus forming the statue tablet style and replace the calligraphy into the mainstream. On the other hand through his calligraphy practice and interpretations to summarize his calligraphy practice view. He elaborated his thought from three aspects including" Strong","Spirit is the most important","The self in the book",and elaborated his view of practice from two aspects including’ The use of brush is the fundamental","Control the brush".Finally to summed up Zhang Boying from the transformation of the concept of the later book learning effects.
