"Baroque", as a concept in art history, came into being in the16th century, prevailed in the seventeenth century, and gradually declined in the middle of the18th century. From the view of classical activists, the "baroque" is a pronoun which is of fallen artistic style. It is not until the late nineteenth century that a relatively fair evaluation is given about it. As in other times, works in the baroque period show a similarity and relevance in the style. For example, music, painting, architecture, sculpture or other art categories, although they are identical in expression, they all present a delicate isomorphic relation, based on cultural history background and influenced by the art trend. Works in this fields main performance a similarity in understanding the concept of beauty and expressing their thoughts. They not only embrace each other and become a whole part but also are distinguishable in their development and innovation.This paper is divided into four chapters, with introduction goes first and epilogue follows it,In the introduction, the author makes clear the reason of choosing the topic and the significance of it. Introduces the study object and give a general introduction to the related literature on this article.The first chapter is made of three parts, which is mainly to give a general introduction and definition of the hearing art and visual art. Before the narration of baroque, the author first presents a simple introduction to the origin and the social historical and cultural background of the baroque.The second and the third quarter respectively give the boundary of definition of the hearing art and visual art and an overview of it. The former one mainly introduces music, and the later one focus on painting, building and sculpture.Respectively, chapter2,3,and4analyzed from the emotions, adornment and religions in the baroque period of hearing arts and visual arts. The three chapters belong to unified paratactic structure. The layout is very similar:the first day is the general overview of the features, including the definition, origin, characteristics, development situation and so on; the second day is characterizing in hearing arts and visual arts in performances, mainly through the baroque period to the art of categories with the most typical characteristics of the artist or the artist’s works. The third quarter is the feature in the hearing arts and visual arts, in the comparison of the similarities and differences. This is the focus of each chapter. Emotions mainly focus on the comparison of the rationalities and irrationalities. Adornment focused on the results of the artistic using adornment or bringing the influence of comparison. The comparison of the two main religious kinds of art is the way of how to borrow ideas and pervade from religious subjects and making them secular.
