Purpose:As modern society goes, people have a more rapid rhythm of life. Because avariety of adverse factors have done harm to man, the number of barren men has beenincreasing. And that preservation of sperms in a low temprature is a relatively maturetechnique which has been used all around the world, but preservation of sperms in a lowtemprature will do harm to sperms in some degree such as injury of structure,function andeven broad death of sperms. So it is neccesary to explore further as to look for a much morereasonable method and protective dose of breezing and dissolving sperms. Whiletraditional Chinese medicine has an entire theoretical system and many clinical experientialdrugs which have been proven effective in the thousand-year chinical practice. If we canmake use of thoery of traditional Chinese medicine as guide to filtrate protective dose ofbreezing sperms in Chinese herbals that not only benefits artificial reproductivity a lot,butalso will be of great value to development and penetration to many scopes of traditionalChinese medicine,barren men,stability and harmony of society.So we put a routine Chinese herbal Cuscuta seed which we have used in treatinginfertility into protective dose of breezing sperms so as to study and explore applicativelyand gain the effectivity of Cuscuta seed fluid as protective dose of breezing sperms toprevent sperms from injury in low temprature. We want to further verify the effectivity ofCuscuta seed and thoery of trational Chinese medicine,and seek jiont between ART andtrational Chinese medicine.Method: Use the match-pair method,through pre-experiment to chose ralatively betterdensity of Cuscuta seed fluid.In order to decrease many enfluential fators,the protectivefluid was mainly made of glycerine(14%).The protective fluids of the treatment and contol group were defferentiated by that whether the protective fluids contained Cuscuta seed fluid.Next,divided the checked semens into two parts,one was put into contol group,the otherwas put into treatment group. Put the same dose protective fluid into each semen and do thesteps:breeze,store in low temprature,dissolve. Finally,fetch the semen from fluid nitrogencan to check,and put it into warm watter box to dissolve,then check it and analyze bystatistics soft.result: According to final data derived from 24 copiey of semens,we have comparedthe living rate(a+b+c) of the two group through the soft SPSS 13.0,t=2.68,p＜0.01,therewas a signicant difference.The result indicated that Cuscuta seed had remarkbaleprotection in preservation and breezing of sperms and promoted the living rate of spermsafter breezing; compared the livingness (a+b) of the two groups, t=2.45, p＜0.05, therewas a signicant difference, the result indicated that Cuscuta seed had remarkbaleprotection in preservation and breezing of sperms and promoted the livingness of spermsafter breezing.conclusion: According to statistical figures of the study,the results indicated thatCuscuta seed had some applicative value in preventing sperms from injury in lowtemprature: not only promoted entire living rate ofbrozen sperms (p＜0.01),but alsoenhanced the whole livingness (p＜0.05). This effectiveness may benefit from function ofCuscuta seed that anti-oxidize and stablize sperm membrane. In additon, this study alsoprovid feasible case for broad research of joint between traditional Chinese medecine andbreezing sperms. What is of more value is that it may creates a new jiont betweentraditional Chinese medecine and ART. In a word,in order to make the injury after breezingas less as possible, promote sucessful rate of ART and augment the safe coefficient, we stillhave the neccesary to study and explore protective dose and the breezing velocity. As totraditional Chinese medecine,it has a great feability of intervening into ART. In order to dosome research applicatively, according to basic thoery of traditional Chinese medecine, wehave put Cuscuta seed which can warm kidney Yang into protective dose of breezingsperms, we think that it has scietific advancing front and clinical practicability.
