The clinic information manager system is an applied software system organized by the Guangzhou military district out-patient department. The system preferably solves the existent questions of data processing method, such as low automation degree and data dispersion, etc. With the time passed, some new problems emerge. So we carry on a bigger technique improvement to the system, add some function modules, develop the method to encrypt the VFP procedure and data, strengthen secret function, and improve efficiency.In this paper, we thoroughly analyze the development process of the information system of the out-patient department medical treatment and discuss some key procedures, especially the encryptions and the decryptions of VFP procedure.VFP language is used in the whole system, and this language is object-oriented and prevailing at present, which gives the convenience and the practicability in our development. In the network system design, we well consider forerunner, economy and function. We adopt mature high-speed net technique, which satisfies the existing network needs, and also satisfies the future needs.Based on the original system, we adopt structure design method and divide the whole system into 9 function modules: out-patient medicine database module, out-patient pharmacy module, register and charge module, out-patient department director management module, soldier module, out-patient doctor’s workstation module, chief health care data connection module, automatic backup module and medical treatment apparatus module. Then, each module is subdivided and some details are added.The main work of system design includes:First, optimize the database. Because the business of the out-patient department is increased, we add the charge source and the statistic method. For example, we add new segments and new forms in database and get rid of the redundancies.Second, set up the doctor’s workstation. Because there is no clinic doctor’s workstation in the original system, the treatment procedure is very tedious. After adopting the doctor’s workstation, the doctor can directly make use of drugs information of pharmacy or the information of function departments.Third, develop pharmacy management sub-system. So, the part of patients’ procedure is reduced and the efficiency and accuracy of the pharmacy are raised.Fourth, add the data connection of chief’s health report procedure. We collect and convert the data to clinic data by the data connection, then duct it into the report procedure’s database.Fifth, intensify secrecy ability. The confidentiality of procedure programmed by VFP are all very fade and the procedure can easily crack when some Hacker software hack it.We encrypt the system in following ways: encrypt the system’s procedure, use the deluxe password, encrypt the data form and encrypt the character segment data of form.We strictly debug the system and make a great deal of modification according to the customer’s opinion. Built up a good chain on drugs, patient, doctor and expenses, some modification of one part will automatically cause related part’s modification.
