Objective:To evaluate the early clinical value of DWI and CE-MRI in the therapeutic efficacy of Uterine fibroids after high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) ablation.Methods:18patients with a total of48lesions of uterine fibroids underwent HIFU ablation, routine MRI, DWI and CE-MRI examination were performed before the surgery and a day after HIFU. DWI signal characteristics and ADC value difference of ablation area and residual area were analyzed preoperative and postoperative. And fibroid ablation rate was compared in DWI and CE-MRI.Results:The residual area of Uterine fibroids was found of varying degrees by DWI and CE-MRI a day after HIFU ablation. Ablation area of Uterine fibroids one day after HIFU mean ADC value lower than the preoperative there, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001);Residual fibroids area of Uterine fibroids one day after HIFU mean ADC value higher than preoperative there, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.001); The mean rate of uerine fibroids ablation one day after HIFU ablation was measured in DWI and CE-MRI,the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:1, DWI is an effective method to evaluate early the efficacy of Uterine fibroids after HIFU ablation.2, DWI and CE-MRI in the early evaluation of HIFU ablation of uterine fibroids had no significant difference in terms of curative effect.
