Adolescent Female Abortion Statusand Countermeasures Research

[Objective] To investigate the Present situation and high risk factors ofadolescence artificial abortion of BeiHai. To explore the value ofcomprehensive intervention of adolescence artificial abortion on reducingrepeated artificial abortion and genital tract inflammation.[Methods] To review327cases adolescence artificial abortion ingynecology clinic of Beihai People’s Hospital from January2008to January2012(control group) and152cases adolescence artificial abortion fromJanuary2012to January2013(intervention group), who were less than19-year old with voluntary wish to terminate Pregnancy. We used statisticmethods to know the Present situation and high risk factors of adolescenceartificial abortion from the tow groups. We performed comprehensiveintervention measures on intervention group and compared the difference ofrepeated abortion rate and genital tract infection between tow groups within one year after abortion.[Results] The high risk factors of adolescence artificial abortion are theyounger age for the first sexual life, lower income, less acknowledge ofcontraception and the harm of abortion. There are101cases repeated abortionand179cases genital trace infection in control group with one year afterabortion, but in intervention group there are12cases repeated abortion and21cases genital tract infection, which has statistical significance.[Conclusion] Less acknowledge of contraception and the harm of abortionis the main unsafe reason of adolescent abortion. Comprehensive interventionmeasure before and after abortion can reduce repeated abortion and genitaltract infection.
