Objective:Analysis the significance of serum adiponectin test in patients with alcoholic cirrhosis. Methods:We selected78cirrhotic patients hospitalized in Jinxiang People’s Hospital during2013April-2013December, among which43cases were alcoholic cirrhosis patients, and then were subjected to subdivide according to Child-Pugh classification standards:a. Liver function A level contained9cases; b. Liver function B level contained21cases; c. Liver function C level contained13cases; hepatitis B cirrhosis patients contained35cases; healthy control group contained20cases.Adiponectin was determined by radioimmunoassay, liver function and the index of liver fibrosis was analyzed by Liver function of automatic biochemical analyzer. We also analyzed serum adiponectin level changes and furthermore we analyzed the correlation between adiponectin and liver function, index of liver fibrosis. Results:Adiponectin levels of Hepatitis B cirrhosis patients showed no apparent changes when compared with healthy control group volunteer (P>0.05). Adiponectin levels from each group of alcoholic cirrhosis patients were obviously higher than healthy control group volunteer (P<0.05). As the alcoholic cirrhosis became more and more worse, Adiponectin levels showed a tendency to increase gradually. When we compared the adiponectin between the alcoholic cirrhosis groups, we found the adiponectin between each groups is significant different (P<0.05), especially between Grade C and Grade A as well as Grade B and Grade A(P<0.01). ADP levels of alcoholic cirrhosis was positive correlated with PC-Ⅲ(r=628), LN(r=563、C-Ⅳ(r=602)、HA(r=587)、TBIL(r=0.412)(P<0.05), whereas being negative correlated with ALB (r=-0.609,P<0.05).Conclusions:Adiponectin levels were significantly increased in alcoholic cirrhosis patients, in particular, increased with the Child-Pugh classification arises, namely Grade C> Grade B> Grade A. Adiponectin levels of alcoholic cirrhosis was positive correlatied with PC-Ⅲ LN、C-IV、HA、TBIL (P<0.05), whereas being negative correlated with ALB (P<0.05).
