Objective To investigate the influence of Apoptosis-2ligand (Apo-2L) and radiotherapy on Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CNE Cell Lines.Methods MTT method was used to ensure the concentration of Apo-2L in CNE cells and the time Apl-2L acted on CNE cells. Divided the cells randomly into4groups:control group(Group CK),Aop-2L group(Group T), Aop-2L+Radio group(Group T+R),Radio group (Group R).Gave different treatment for every group then got single cell suspensions, statisticed the cell apoptosis with Flow cytometry.Results The results of MTT showed that the correlation between the inhibition rate and the concentration of Apo-2L in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CNE cells was positive.In the condition of100mg/mL Apo-2L and interacted24hours, it can enhance the inhibition ratio of Radiotherapy for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CNE cells. Apo-2L can inhibit the proliferation of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CNE cells, using with X-ray the effect may be magnified. Between each group, the differences were significant. Comparing to the effect of either Apo-2L or X-ray irradiation alone to Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CME cells, the apoptosis rate and the proportion of G2/M period of the combination therapy group had significant statistical difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The Apo-2L can inhibit the proliferation and promote the apoptosis of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma CNE Cells in vitro. Combining with radiation, the Apo-2L can down-regulate the proportion of stage G2/M, and may synchronize the CNE cell cycle. The results can conclude that Apo-2L has potentiation for radiation.
