The Clinical Curative Effect Of New Lower Blepharoplasty With Skin-flap In Outer Canthus

Objective: This article describes the observations and conclusions of the post treatment effect and treatment related complication of the78cases of lower blepharoplasty mixed with skin flap and skin-muscle flap during the two-year period from March2012to March2014. The goal is to search for a lower blepharoplasty methodology with simple operational procedure, less related complication, and long lasting treatment effect.Method:The objects include age(older than35years), unrectived similar surgerg,no-system diseases.We classified these objects depend on Castanare:type Ⅰ,skin flabby;type Ⅱ,orbital fat prolopse;type Ⅲ,thick orbicular muscle and type Ⅳ,mixed.Operation carried out skin approach,and made skin incision under the inferior palpebral margin1mm.After flap was separated,we reserved5mm orbicularis oculi and entered into deeper lay to form skin-muscle flap. Skin flap was gained outside the eyelid cicatrix area and sutured periorbit by6/0suture line.We evaluate the surgery effect and patients’satisfaction,which contain varied complication,for example,smell,the degree of flat,eyelid ball separation, lower eyelid ectropion,atroply skin say nelapse and so on.Result:Follow-up with12weeks,we discovered the most commom somatotype is the type Ⅳ (59cases).Next rank is type Ⅰ(19cases).With all the patients75of them were very satisfied,one patient was basically and two patients couldn’t be reached.The effectivene of lower blepharoplasty was obvious disappeared,lower eye skin completely flat and smooth.Hill being in the range of4-6mm.Well shaped in outer canthus,and skin was little scar.The occurring rate of frequently happened treatment related complications was is low.But,the shore term swelling factor had no significants superiority.64%of patients appeared smell and fade after10days,5%of patients appeared briefly eyelid ball separation, ectorpion and displacement.One case received external cicatrix loose surgerg got well satisfatied,when she appeared eyelid fission small.Two cases appeared skin depression and newl after2or3weeks.There were no other complication.Conclusions:This combined surgical method has simpler operational procedures. Surgery dislodge more skin and pontses between corium layer and periosteum get more secure. This process avoids skin depression due to rows of reaction and tight suture. It’s an effective surgical treatment procedure in improving lower eyelid aging deformity.
