Objectives:To measure and analyze normal internal carotid artery dimension and angles of the crowd (people who are over50) easy to suffer from cerebrovascular disease.Methods:Choose36people, who are without disease that can change the pressure of internal carotid artery and cause hemodynamic changes,that are over50years and easy to suffer from cerebrovascular disease. And then CT strengthening scan images of brain in DICOM format of those people were imported into Mimics software, and the internal carotid artery was reconstructed and measured with the technique of thresholdings Multiple Slice Edit、Calculate3D from Mask. All the results were statistically analyzed.Results:By statistical analyze, the dimension of different sections of ICA had shown that there was no significant difference between two genders (P>0.05), the internal carotid artery is becoming thinner and thinner, just become thick in C3of ICA. In the gaps between adjacent segments, the gap between C3and C4,C5and C6are bigger than others. In the measurement of the angles, The siphon had shown that there was no significant difference between two genders(P>0.05);Other five angles have significant difference in this group(P<0.05). The biggest angle can be measured.Conclusions:The results of the dimension and angle measurement of cerebrovascular disease high-risk groups of the internal carotid artery diameter can provides important reference basis for clinical application and anatomical study.
