Value Of Ultrasonic Elastography Of ROI A Ratio Combined With Elasticity Scores In Differential Diagnosis Of Auxiliary Lymph Nodules

Objective To assess diagnosis the value of ROI A ratio combined with score system in differential benign and malignant auxiliary lymph nodules.Methods A total of43women patients with76abnormal auxiliary lymph nodules underwent examinations with real-time ultrasonic elastography from May to November of2013and the lymph nodes were assessed by ROI A ratio,8-score system elasticity scores and combined the two ways. To study the diagnostic value of those methods by Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves and the best cutoff point was determined.Results Comparing with histopathology results, the area under the ROC curve (Az) of ROI A ratio,8-score system elasticity scores and combination way for differentiating benign and malignant auxiliary lymph nodules was67%,65%and85%respectively. The best diagnostic cut-off point of ROI A ratio was0.20%for combination way.The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy were77.8%,81.8%and79.3%for ROI A ratio,12.2%,72.7%and72.4%for the elasticity scores, and88.9%,72.7%,82.7%for their combination, respectively.Comparing with magnetic resonance imaging results, the area under the ROC curve (Az) of ROI A ratio,8-score system elasticity scores and combination way for differentiating benign and malignant auxiliary lymph nodules was74%%73%and78%respectively. The best diagnostic cut-off point of using ROI A ratio was0.19%for combination way. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of these three methods were85.1%,16.1%,80.7%;74.1%,133%,13.1%;92.6%,80.0%,86.0%, respectively. The accuracy of the combined diagnosis has significantly highest value.Conclusion ROI A ratio combined with elasticity scores has good at auxiliary lymph nodules diagnostic value and the best diagnostic cut-off point distinguishing benign and malignant nodes of ROI A ratio is0.19%-0.20%.
