Arteriosclerosis obliterans (ASO) is a chronic ischemic disease which is causedby atherosclerosis. It is a common disease in vascular surgery. There are a number ofways for the treatment of arteriosclerosis obliterans. In clinical, we should take intoaccount in accordance with the general condition and clinical symptoms, imagingfindings and so on, then choose the best treatment options. Endovascular treatmentwith trauma, high repeatability, faster recovery and fewer complications, which hashighly value and gradually become the first treatment of ASO.With the development of endovascular treatment of materials、new technologiesto carry out and research in basic knowledge. Endovascular treatment of vascularlesions from short segment to the long segment, from a single segment expanding tomultiple segments. The clinical effect is also rising, and has good prospects. Thispaper through clinical comparison and analyzes the clinical efficacy of iliac arteryocclusive with long segment stenosis or occlusion of femoral artery in endovasculartreatment. Objective:To investigate the clinical studies of endovascular treatment of iliacartery occlusion combined with long segment stenosis or occlusion of the femoralartery. Methods:Select from September2011to November2013in hospital diagnosedwith iliac artery occlusive combined long segment stenosis or occlusion of thefemoral artery of the patients, a total of117cases, Male73cases, female44cases,with an average age of64.26±0.61years old.57cases underwent iliac artery balloonangioplasty and stent implantation, long segment femoral artery disease without anytreatment, set to group A;60cases with iliac artery occlusive and femoral arterystenosis or occlusion were treated with balloon dilatation and stent implantation, set togroup B. Patients were followed up1month,6months,12months,18months,24months limb patency, ABI, claudicating distance, limb salvage rate and other relatedindicators and analyzed. Results:All limb lesions were successfully opened, Follow-up for24months,the limbs of patency、claudicating distance and limb salvage rate of group A werebetter than group B. one case was amputated in group B, no case was amputated ingroup A.Conclusions:1、Iliac artery occlusion combined with long segment stenosis or occlusion offemoral artery were preferred endovascular interventional treatment.2、The long-term effect of simple treatment of iliac artery occlusion is batter thantreatment of the iliac occlusion and the long segment stenosis or occlusion of thefemoral artery at the same time.3、Endovascular intervention should avoid overtreatment.
