Objective:To detect serum levels of soluble SCUBE2in patients with rheumatoidarthritis(RA) and analyze the relevance between soluble SCUBE2and associated clinicalindexes of RA and evaluate the clinical significances. Methods: The subjects were divided into five groups:30patients with active RA,30patients with remissive RA,collect whose serum, clinical and examine indicators such assex, age, disease duration, the patients’visual analogue score(VAS) of pain, morningstiffness, tender joint and swollen joint counts, disease activity score in28joints(DAS28),rheumatoid factor(RF),anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP),erythrocytesedimentation rate(ESR),C-react-ive protein(CRP), healthy assessment questionnaireacores(HAQ).Choose another24healthy people to collect their serum.Measuring theconcentration of SCUBE2by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),to analyze therelevance between SCUBE2and1evaluation indexes of RA.Results:1.The concentration of SCUBE2in patients with RA was higher than healthypeople statistically (4.21±0.91ng/mL VS2.80±0.81ng/mL,P<0.05).2.The concentration ofSCUBE2was4.92±0.73ng/mL in patients with active RA,3.51±0.32ng/mL in patientswith remissive RA,indicating that concentration of SCUBE2in patients with active RAwas higher than the other two groups(P<0.05).3. The remissive group is higher than thehealthy contron group, the difference stastically significant(P<0.05).4.There were positivecorrelation between the concentration of SCUBE2and tender joint and swollen jointcounts, the patients’visual analogue score(VAS)of pain, anti-cyclic citrullinatedpeptide(CCP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),C-react-ive protein(CRP),platelet, disease activity score in28joints(DAS28) of patients with RA(P<0.05). Conclusions:SCUBE2naturally existed in patients with RA and healthy people.Wefound that the concentration of SCUBE2was abnormally high in patients with RA,and theconcentration of SCUBE2was higher in patiens with active RA than the remissiveRA,meanwhile meanwhile there were positive correlation between the concentration ofSCUBE2and tender joint and swollen joint counts, the patients’visual analoguescore(VAS)of pain, anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP),erythrocyte sedimentationrate(ESR),C-react-ive protein(CRP), platelet, disease activity score in28joints(DAS28) ofpatients with RA(P<0.05),which indicated that SCUBE2may participate in thepathogenesis of RA,and SCUBE2could reflect the activity level of RA in a way.
