Objective:Investigate the living condition and understand the symptoms clusters of ovariancancer patients,as well as analyse factors that influence the quality of life on ovariancancer patients.To alleviate symptoms of ovarian cancer patients and providereference to improve the quality of their life.Method:Patients come from Chang Chun, Ji Lin′s two comprehension hospital.Usedrandom choice method,there are94cases of patients with ovarian cancer (43patientsare primary and51patients are recurrence).There are180questionnaires wereeffective in this questionnaire survey. With social demographic informationquestionnaire, determination of the world health organization quality of life scale(WHOQOL100) and ovarian cancer specific questionnaire and SPSS7.0was appliedto data analysis.The social and demographic data questionnaire and symptoms qualityof life haved been descriptively analysis; Quality of life of differences between groupsusing single factor analysis of variance; The quality of life as a dependent variable,the related factors as independent variables, multiple stepwise regression analysis theinfluence of quality of life of the ovarian cancer patients.Results:1.Higher scores symptoms in patients of ovarian cancer are fatigue, vomiting,sadness, poor appetite, and hair loss.The impact of these symptoms on the physicaland emotional conditions are the highest,and the social/family scored is lowest.2.Ovarian cancer patients after surgery and during chemotherapy have fivesymptoms clusters and they are the symptoms of pain, psychological symptoms,Perimenopausal symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, symptoms of chemotherapyside effects.3.The average score of quality of life ovarian cancer patients was94.58±4.25.The dimension scores from low to high followed by was physiology, ovarian cancerspecific module, function, emotional status and the social/family conditions. Patient’sage, family income, the types of medical insurance, physical condition, chemotherapy in time and recurrence have significant impact on patients’ quality of life.Culturallevel, residence, occupation, marital status, pathological type and presence of chronicdisease have statistically insignificant.4.The symptoms of pain cluster has negatively correlated with physiologicalcondition and symptoms of ovarian cancer specificity; Perimenopausal symptoms hasnegatively correlated with physical activity; Psychological symptoms has negativelycorrelated with emotional state and social/family situation; Gastrointestinal symptomsgroup has negatively correlated with the physiology function and ovarian cancerspecific module;Chemotherapy side effects has negatively correlated with functionalstatus and physical activity and ovarian cancer specific modules.Conclusion1.Ovarian cancer patients during surgery and chemotherapy groups have fivesymptoms clusters and there are the symptoms of pain, psychological symptoms,perimenopausal symptoms, gastrointestinal symptoms, symptoms of chemotherapyside effects.2.Different stages of treatment groups have different symptoms clusters,and thestrength and group compositions of symptoms clusters are different.3.There are many factors influenced quality of life of ovarian cancer patients, thesymptoms clusters have negatively correlated with the quality of life and giveeffective intervention can improve patients’ quality of life. |
