Objective: Analyzing the active ingredients of fructus schisandraeSCL grain antiepileptic effect of epileptic rat model and neural protectionMethods: Totally90Wistar rats were divided into three groups,control group10only (no special treatment),40epilepsy model group,SCL group and40,intraperitoneal inject scopolamine nitric acid methylester (1mg/kg),20minutes to give ordinary card product (320-350mg/kg,intramuscular) induced rats first onset of status epilepticus, after thesuccess of the induction to diazepam5mg/kg intramuscular injection, theseizure terminate. then record the numbers of seizures in rats and thewhole process of epilepsy1month (30days) with video, seizure happensabove3times within a month as a successful models. The experimentalgroup give SCL80mg/kg after feeding, the control group and epilepsymodel group rats eats normal. observe the rats epileptic seizures of threegroups with Video records. Stop recording after the completion, executedperfusion in brain, brain volume ratio by weight1:9add4℃physiological saline, the preparation of10%homogenate. Application ofspectrophotometric method and coomassie brilliant blue legal protein.Inspection records in the three groups of mice serum and brain tissue NO,T-AOC, SOD and MDA content. Analysis of schisandra lignin nerve protective effect on epilepsy model rats.Results: Application of video recording the above two groups of ratsepileptic seizure within a month. The results of Video recording showed:in the experimental group40rats have17seizures (attack rate of42.5%),to group of33only epilepsy seizures (82.5%), control group0onlyseizures (0%), which show that the SCL has the effect to reduce thenumber of epileptic seizures significantly. The blood and brain tissueSOD activity and T-AOC in experimental rat significantly reduce, thecontent of MDA, NO decrease obviously.Conclusion:1. The SCL grain have the ability to significantly reduce the numberof epileptic seizures.2. The neuroprotection and antiepilepsy role of SCL are throughreducing the the formation of free radicals and antioxidant effect onepilepsy rats.
