Objective:A survey of the chronic cervicitis clinical diagnosis and treatment cognition of childbearing aged women (20-55year old) in Jiuyuan District of Baotou city and its surrounding was conducted and analyzed to understand the current treatment status of chronic cervicitis and put forward appropriate intervention measures.Method:Cases of1500were selected as research object. The investigation data was obtained through the professionally designed questionnaire and gynecological examination and analyzed statistically.Results:The average credit of research objects cognitive level was only5.48±2.31. The score was different in the research objectors with different age, cultural degree, economic status, occupation and residence forms (resident or floating) and the difference was statistically significant (p<0.05). It showed that half the women who was diagnosed severe cervical erosion directly required operation treatment.Most of them had no regulatory systematic treatment or cervical cancer cytological diagnosis.some patients had different degree complications.Conclusion:The age, cultural degree,economic status, occupation and residence forms (resident or floating) of the research objectors are both the factors influencing the credit of cognitive level.The majority of childbearing aged women researched had the treatment awareness of chronic cervicitis, but lack the correct measures and the excessive treatment behaviors was exist. This result concluded that it was necessary to strengthen the propaganda and education of gynecological diseases in towns and communities. It was nessary to offer free diagnosis and treatment of gynecological disease for childbearing aged women, especially low income women. Effectively enhance the awareness of the clinical diagnosis and treatment of chronic cervicitis and avoid over-treatment.
