Objective:The study on diffirent gender with CHD were givenRosuvastatin treatment, through the comparison of the level of serumadiponectin(APN) and high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),is toprovide if there are gender differences in the application of Rosuvastatin.Methods:120patients with CHD were included to this test,including60case of women(40cases of postmenopausal women,20cases of nonpostmenopausal women),60cases of men.All the cases were givenconventional treatment and Rosuvastatin. At baseline and4weeks after thetreatment, the levels of serum APN,hs-CRP,HDL-C,TG,TC,LDL-C,etc,weremeasured.Results:1There were no significant differences in clinical characteristics(age, hypertension, diabetes, smoking history and the levels ofAPN,hs-CRP,TG,TC,HDL-C,LDL-C)between the three groups before theapplication of rosuvastatin(P>0.05).2The comparison of text index levels in each groups4weeks after theapplication of rosuvastatin, the level of TC,TG,LDL-C,hs-CRP falled, insteadof HDL-C and APN increased(P<0.05).3Using APN as a marker for cardiovascular protective, there was asignificant difference between the men group and women group after theapplication of rosuvastatin(9.55±2.03VS8.56±1.74,P=0.005). Thecomparison between the three group, there was no significant differencebetween men group and non postmenopausal women group(P=0.993),but thelevels of APN in the men group and non postmenopausal women group werehigher than the postmenopausal group (9.55±2.03VS9.56±2.04VS8.05±1.34,P<0.05). 4Using hs-CRP as a marker of inflammatory injury, the levels of hs-CRPfalled after the application of rosuvastatin in men group and womengroup(P<0.001).There was no significant difference between mengroup,Postmenopausal women group and non postmenopausal group(P>0.05).5After the4weeks application of rosuvastatin in men group and womengroup, the level of LDL-C,TG,TC falled(P<0.001),instead of HDL-Cincreased (P<0.05).There was no significant difference between thepostmenopausal women group and non postmenopausal group(P=0.257)inthe change of HDL-C,but there was a significant difference between the mengroup and two women groups(1.05±0.12VS0.94±0.10VS0.98±0.12,P<0.05).There was no significant difference between thepostmenopausal women group and non postmenopausal group in the level ofTC after the application of rosuvastatin,(P=0.054),but the differences weresignificant between between the men group and two women groups(3.95±0.99VS4.88±1.23VS4.31±0.86,P<0.05).Comparison of the level ofLDL-C after the application of rosuvastatin, there was no difference betweenthe postmenopausal women group and non postmenopausal group(P=0.106),there was no significant difference between the nonpostmenopausal women group and men group(P=0.136),there was ansignificant difference between the men group and postmenopausal womengroup(2.35±0.60VS2.90±0.69,P<0.001).There was no significantdifference in the level of TG between the men group and women group(P=0.135).Conclusions:Rosuvastatin can decrease the level ofTC,TG,LDL-C,hs-CRP,instead increased HDL-C and APN,and moreponnounced on men in the terms of lower the levels of TC and LDL-C andrise the level of APN levels,Especially in the comparision of men andpostmenopausal women.
