Objective: Ascertain the average level of serum total cholesterol(TC), triglycerides(TG), high-density-lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-c) and low-density-lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) of the residents in Gansu province by the epidemiological investigation.Analysis the risk factors of hyperlipidemia,to guide the prevention and drug therapy of general population and patients with hyperlipidemia.Methods:Adopt the method of multistage stratified cluster random sampling, took a sample survey of the20-74-year-old people which were randomly selected. First of all, each city in gansu province could be divided into urban and rural areas,then randomly selected a rural and a community from each city in Gansu province.Secondly,we selected randomly300households in the rural and community separately as the survey sample. Phlebotomized and fillde in the questionnaire which was to survey information of age, gender, diet, exercise, smoking, drinking, etc.The method of double entry was used to entry the data.Thirdly, we removede the outliers, and then statistical analyzed the data with spss19.0package.Results:The survey showed that the lipid levels of population in Gansu province lower than the rest of the whole country.Based on the multi-factor Logistic regression analysis,we can see that greasy food,drink and smoking is the risk factor of hyperlipidemia.Conclusion:The preventive and therapeutic measures of hyperlipidemia in Gansu province are expected to be strengthened.We should popularize the health knowledge and enhance the health awareness of all the people.Prenvention of hyperlipidemia from the aspects of give up smoking,drinking an reasonable diet habits.Participate in the exercise at the same time to prevent the happening and development of the cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.
