Objection:Investigate the efficacy of synchronous and combination therapy with endoscopic in esophageal varices patients. Methods:A prospective study was carry out among60patients with different causes of liver cirrhosis and portal hypertension bleeding esophageal and gastric variceal (EGVB). The endoscopic therapy were divided into synchronous treatment group and the synchronous sequential treatment group, followed from6to12months, after the treatment of varicose veins, compared between the two groups including clinical efficacy, rebleeding rate, mortality, complications rates, readmission rates and other indicators differences.Result:In all study samples, the patients treatment with esophageal varices, after endoscopic treatment, Endoscopic synchronous group after the treatment efficiency was73.3%, the effective rate was16.7%. Endoscopic sequential group after the treatment efficiency was66.7%, the effective rate was20%. The two groups had no significant difference (P>0.05). After endoscopic therapy synchronization group the rate of rebleeding was20%, in Sequential group, the rate of rebleeding was46.7%. The rebleeding rate were significant differences between Synchronous and sequential endoscopic treatment group (P<0.05). After endoscopic therapy synchronization group rehospitalization rate was20%, in Sequential group, the re hospitalization rate was46.7%, There was statistical significance in two groups(P<0.05). Synchronous group after endoscopic therapy complication rate was10%, in Sequential group it was13.3%.There was no statistical significance (P>0.05).Conclusion:For the patients coexist esophageal varices and gastric varices, endoscopic combined synchronization therapy can reduce the rate of rebleeding, increase the clinical efficacy, without increasing the incidence of complications, and is worth promoting.
