To search for new active compounds, the paper chose the two specific growth environment from Tibet and the oceans, and carried out a systematic study of their chemical composition. Studies are as follows:1. Study on the Chemical Constituents from Mirabilis himalaicaAs an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tibetan medicines are widely used in China. Mirabilis himalaica plants, belong to Mirabilis genus of Nyctaginaceaefamily, are used as traditional Tibetan medicine with kidney nourishing, warming kidney stone row, diuretic, tissue regeneration and other effects, for treatment of stomach trouble, lower body cold, cold kidney, impotence swelling and other symptoms.Till now, some compounds including rotenone, steroid, styrene-acrylic acid derivatives, glycolipids, glycosides and organic acids were isolated from M. himalaica. This paper continued to study the chemical constituents from M. himalaica in order to better use of its resources. In this paper,13compounds, adenosine(XM-1), tryptophan(XM-2),1-methyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-β-carboline-3-carboxylic acid(XM-3),6’-O-(E)-feruloylsucrose (XM-4), syringaresinol mono-β-D-glucoside(XM-5), ferulic acid(XM-6), N-trans-ferulic acid-4-O-methyl dopamine(XM-7), chrysophanol(XM-8), physcion(XM-9), Boeravinone J (XM-10),6-methyl-7-acetyl-1,8-dihydroxy naphthalene-1-O-β-D(L)-glucoside(XM-11), N-trans-ferulic acid tyramine (XM-12), Himalain A (XM-13), were isolated by positive and reverse phase silica gel column chromatography, Sephedex LH-20, preparative TLC and semi-preparative HPLC. Their structures were identified by UV, IR, MS,1H-NMR,13C-NMR and2D-NMR. Among them, Himalain A was a new compound, the rest of the compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time except for syringaresinol mono-β-D-glucoside.2. Study on the Chemical Constituents from marine Streptomyces spp.Low temperature, low-nutrition, high salt, high pressure and other characteristics in marine environment maydevelop specific metabolic pathways in organisms different from that on terrene, which may provide the possibility of discover new compounds.Currently, about70%natural antibiotics were found in actinomycetes family.90%of leading compounds from marine actinomycetes were come from Streptomyces genus. Therefore, current chemical researches on marine actinomycetes are mainly focus on genus Streptomyces. In order to looking for novel bioactive compounds, the paper study the chemical consitituents of the marine Streptomyces spp.Seven compounds from the Streptomyces spp. including pyrrole-2-carboxylic acid(STl),4-Hydroxybenzoic acid(ST2),4-Hydroxy-10-methyl-11-oxododec-2-en-1,4-olide (ST3),2-hydroxy-benzonitril(ST4),2-acetamido-benzoic acid(ST5),2-propionamido-benzoic acid(ST6),5-(6,7-dihydroxy-6-methyloctyl) furan-2(5H)-one(ST7) were isolated from Streptomyces spp. by using positive and reverse phase silica gel column chromatography, Sephedex LH-20, preparative TLC, semi-preparative HPLC methods. Their structures were identified by physicochemical properties, UV, IR, MS,1H-NMR and13C-NMR and other methods..
