Objective To research the evolvement regulation of TCM Qi Blood Yin and Yang syndrome of patients with gynecological malignancy before and after chemotherapy, and study on the characteristics of chemotherapy, so that provide evidence to determination of treatment. Methods We designed questionnaire of TCM symptoms of patients of gynecological malignancy before and after chemotherapy based on the investigation to literature、 reference book and remark from expert. We analyzed clinical data of149inpatients with gynecological malignancy admitted from December of2012to April of2013in People’s Hospital of Peking University by four diagnostic methods. All symptoms, ton-gue, vein... etc. articles were transformed into two classifications,(1and0), and we used the SPSS17.0software to analyze the clinical data. We used descriptive frequenc-y analysis, Chi-Squared analysis, and Non-parametric test to classify the familiar syndr-ome differentiation factors of each syndrome type, so as to research the evolvement regulation of TCM Qi Blood Yin and Yang syndrome of patients with gynecological malignancy before and after chemotherapy. Results l. The incidences of dry mouth, spontaneous sweating, lassitude, appetence, nausea and vomiting, repeated acid reflux heartburn, aversion to heat, flushed face after chemotherapy were significantly higher than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05).2. There was no significant difference of the incidence of tongue body between before and after chemotherapy, but the incidence of yellow tongue coating after chemotherapy was significantly higher than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05). The incidence of white tongue coating after chemotherapy was significantly lower than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05).3.The differentiation of one single syndrome:The incidences of qi deficiency syndrome and yin deficiency syndrome after chemotherapy was significantly higher than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05), and the incidence of yin deficiency syndrome made much more marked change. Furthermore, the incidences of the sthenic syndrome such as blood-stasis syndrome and dampness syndrome after chemotherapy were both significantly lower than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05).4.The location of the disease was also changed after chemotherapy, and the incidence of patients whose disease location was spleen and stomach after chemotherapy was significantly higher than before chemotherapy respectively (P<0.05).Conclusions1. Chemotherapy is a kind of "re du", and it can consume qi and injure yin, maily to burn up the yin liquid.2. Chemotherapy can consume qi, but it can el-iminate the excess evil of the patients with gynecological malignancy such as blood-stasis and dampness at the same time.3. Chemotherapy consumes qi through impairing the spleen and stomach, leading to dysf-unctions of them. So we should strengthen the spleen and stomach based on tonifying deficiency.
