Objective:Find out whether the NF-κB is related to adverse prognostic parameters, drug-Resistance factor and Clinical outcomes in triple negative breast cancer. Search the difference expression of NF-κB between basal-like breast cancer and non-basal-like breast cancer,explore the difference clinical outcomes of them. Study the distribution of TCM Constitution type in triple negative breast cancer patients. Analyze the relationship between the expression of NF-κB with TCM constitution type and the clinical outcomes.Discuss whether the NF-κB and the TCM Constitution types are clinical adverse prognostic factors of triple negetive breast cancer patients.Methods:Totaling89Cases are from Fuzhou General Hospital, from January2007to January2011, with the diagnosed as triple negative breast cancer patients. Detect the NF-κB by using immunohistochemical expression PV9000. Investigate the TCM constitution type of the cases by using the "TCM Constitution Scale" enacted by Chinese Medical Association in2009.Collating the dates and using SPSS16.0to statistical analysis.Results:(1) In triple negative breast cancer, the expression of NF-κB was55.1%,in basal-like breast cancer, the expression of NF-κB was67.3%, in the non-basal-like breast cancer, the expression of NF-κB was41.8%, the expression of NF-κB shows statistically significant between basal-like breast cancer and non-basal-like breast cancer(P=0.016,P<0.05);(2)In triple negative breast cancer,the expression of NF-κB is related with high histological classification and high Ki-67(P=0.039,P=0.048,P<0.05). In basal-like breast cancer and non-basal-like breast cancer, The expression of NF-κB related with the age distribution, tumor stage, tumor size, lymph node metastasis and histological grading has no obvious correlation(P>0.05);(3)In triple negative breast cancer,the expression of NF-κB is related with TOPOII, P-gP (P=0.037, P=0.043, P<0.05). In basal-like breast cancer,the expression of NF-κB related with TOPOII, BRCA1, ERCC1, beta-tubulin, P-gP were no significant correlation (P>0.05). In non-basal-like breast cancer,the expression of NF-κB is statistically significant with TOPOII (P=0.037, P<0.05).(4) The progress of the cases of each group were35.9%,47.8%,25.5%in triple negative breast cancer, basal-like breast cancer, non-basal-like breast cancer. DFS curves are separation of between basal-like breast cancer and non-basal-like breast cancer, but there is no statistical difference (P>0.05);(5) In triple negative breast cancer, DFS curves are separation of NF-κB(+) group and NF-κB(-) group, but there is no statistical difference (P>0.05); In basal-like breast cancer, DFS curves are separation of NF-κB(+) group and NF-κB(-) group, and the difference is statistically significant (P=0.036, P<0.05);In non-basal-like breast cancer, DFS curves are cross, not separated of NF-κB(+) group and NF-κB(-) group, shows no difference (P>0.05);(6) Among the triple negative breast cancer patients, Qi-depression type,Blood-stasis type, Phlegm-wet type and Wetness-heat type take of the main TCM constitution types, accounted of all patients for35.9%,32.5%,13.4%,11.2%; The expression of nuclear factor κ B related with TCM constitution of Blood-stasis type and the difference was statistically. The Blood-stasis type has the short DFS and poor clinical prognosis, other TCM Physical types and clinical prognosis show no significant correlation in triple negative breast cancer.ConclusionThe expression of NF-κB positive rate of55.1%in Triple negative breast cancer. And the expression of NF-κB in basal-like breast cancer are higher than in the non-basal-like breast cancer. Expression of NF-κB was related with adverse prognostic parameters, drug-Resistance factor, therefore, NF-κB can be an indicators as predictors of prognosis triple negative breast cancer; In the basal-like breast cancer, the expression of NF-κB and DFS is related which means poor clinical prognosis. The majority of triple negative breast cancer,are Qi Constitution and Blood constitution; The expression of NF-κB related with blood stasis, the Blood-stasis type has the short DFS and poor clinical prognosis, other TCM constitution types were no significant correlation with survival prognosis.
