Objective:The expression of trefoil factor3(TFF3) and alpha-fet protein(AFP) in serum and tissues were detected in this study. The serum and tissues were from different clinical stages of hepatocellular carcinoma and cirrhosis, as well as the normal control group. To explore TFF3and AFP expression in different stages of hepatocellular carcinoma in serum and tissues of patients, in order to provide bases for diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.Method:1All the cases were individed into five groups:the normal group (n=30), the compensatory cirrhosis group (n=35) and decompensated cirrhosis group (n=32), the prophase stage of Hepatocellular carcinoma group (n=26), the advanced stage of Hepatocellular carcinoma group,(n=31). The concentration of TFF3and AFP in serum of all persons were detected by double sandwich ELISA method, and the expression of TFF3and APF in the serum were compared in this experiment.2By using immunohistochemical techniques, we analysised the expression of TFF3in the liver tissue of the normal control group (n18), liver cirrhosis group (n=17) and decompensated group (n=15), prophaseHepatocellular carcinoma group (n=14) and advanced Hepatocellular carcinoma group (n=19).3Statistical methodsWe used the statistical software SPSS18.0to analysis the statistic in this experiment. The data analysis of variance was using χ2test. Correlation analysis and correlated analysis using Spearman rank correlation analysis. The statistically significant difference was P<0.05.Results: 1The serum concentration of TFF3in HCC groups is higher than sham and hepatic cirrhosis groups. Compared with early HCC group, the serum concentration of TFF3in the advanced group increased significantly.2The concentration of AFP in HCC groups is higher than sham and hepatic cirrhosis groups. Compared with early HCC group, the concentration of AFP in the advanced group increased significantly.3There was a relationship between the serum concentration of TFF3and AFP,r=0.749,p<0.01.4Compared with sham group, the tissue concentration of TFF3in HCC group increased significantly.Conclusion:1. TFF3may be a serum markers for liver cancer early diagnosis.2.There is no difference of TFF3expression in different stages of hepatic cirrhosis.
